Our project conveyancing team acts as an extension of our developer clients’ sales and marketing function, helping them to manage the exchange and settlement of off-the-plan and project sales efficiently and professionally.
Sales contracts are issued digitally via our proprietary OPEX contract exchange platform. OPEX brings together all the stakeholders of a development project on one centralised system – the law firm, developers, purchasers, purchasers’ solicitors, sales agents and financiers. The system delivers efficiencies to our team in the contract management process and gives our clients real-time visibility over the sales for their projects.
Some of the work our project conveyancing team manage includes:
- Efficiently issuing multiple sales contracts to purchasers and their solicitors
- Negotiating amendments to sales contracts
- Exchanging contracts and reporting to all relevant parties once exchange is effected
- Recording all information pertaining to each sale (including agreed contract amendments and construction variations/upgrades);
- Preparing detailed financier reports in accordance with financier’s requirements
- All settlement attendances, including preparing settlement figures, liaising with clients and their financers on their settlement requirements and completion of settlements via PEXA.

CASE STUDY
Frasers Midtown
Midtown at Macquarie Park in North West Sydney, is a master-planned community which once complete will consistent of approximately 3,300 mixed tenure dwellings. The community will include 2.8 hectares of open space, a proposed primary school, two childcare centres, convenience stores and cafes as well as a range of community spaces including a commercial pool and gym. We were engaged to manage all of the developer conveyancing services on behalf of Frasers Property using our proprietary “OPEX” contract exchange platform.
