Boutique strata law firm Bugden Allen Graham Lawyers announced today their intention to open an office in Perth in early 2022. Heading up the firm’s new Perth office will be Sean Macfarlane, a well-known and respected property and strata law expert in WA.
Mr Macfarlane will be joining Bugden Allen Graham Lawyers as a Partner, spearheading the firm’s expansion into the Western Australian strata and property industry.
Sean Macfarlane has been practicing law for over 10 years in both private practice and Government, specialising in strata and community titles in Western Australia. He was the lead advisor in Parliament to the Minister for Lands during debate and passage of the Strata Titles Amendment Bill 2018 and the Community Titles Bill 2018, the most significant reforms to property law in WA in over 20 years.
Partners Gary Bugden OAM and Michael Allen advised the WA Government on the review of their proposed strata and community titles legislation and regulations in 2018 and 2019, and are now working on a high-profile development project in Perth. The firm is looking forward to establishing a permanent presence in Perth, with their new office due to open on 10 January 2022.
